What an exciting time for our country!
What an exciting time for our country! Over the weekend, my family beat the crowds and drove the 2 - 1/2 hours to Maryland for a birthday party, then continued the drive for 30 additional minutes to Washington D.C. to show our kids where Barack Obama will be sworn in as our 44th president. After our drive and tour around town we ended up in this great specialty "Obama, " store where we got a few gifts and had the exciting opportunity to take some pictures in a roped area where there was a replica of the oval office. I became giddy as I sat down to take this picture...I am still giddy and probably will be all day. Do something presidential today. Be better than usual. Take a moment and breath in the hope in the air for a renewed future for all of us!

Regionals Talk
Unfortunately for me, I was unable to get away and join thousands of happy stampers in Orlando for Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Conference. I have never gone but intend to in the near future. My upline, Jacki is there and she has been posting some great things from Momento Mall on her blog. You will not find the new catalog there, because bloggers are not supposed to share it until it's official unveiling on January 19th. Check her out to see what's going on in Orlando.
I'm smiling because she is bringing me back one of those gorgeous sweaters.

Happy 2009!
Everything is fine in 2009. I think I like that phrase. My mom said that at our New Years Day dinner. Pretty Catchy huh?
I'm quickly going to post a card a good friend of mine made and sent out this year. She had the idea of a snow globe and made an outstanding card. The photo is of her kids. You lift up the picture of her kids and then you find her cute holiday message. She's a creative cookie! Enjoy!
