Blissful Bride in pink

It's been awhile since I've been here. It seems whenever I add something I have to stop something. I started exercising on a regular basis and well that left little time for stamping. Not a good plan. I've got to figure out how to get both stamping and exercising in. Does getting up to pick out paper count? Probably not:-)

Anyway...enough with my problems...A co-worker of mine is getting married this summer. A group of us went in on a gift. One of us collected the money and purchased the gift, another bought the wrapping paper, and the last one of us (me) made the card and this is it. I was trying to think of something quick and cute. Cause that's how I do it. I used the Blissful Bride stamp set. I really like the gown image and decided to use my sponge daubers to give it some color. I finished it up with a bit of white smooch. That gave it the shimmer to make it a bit special. I hope the new bride likes it.

Just a Little Note...

A couple of posts ago I used this same layout and same stamp set with a different color combination. I liked it so much I had to try it again. It's a quick, simple, and fun layout to duplicate for any occasion. This isn't my usual style of card but I like the softness of it. It's very interesting what one comes up with when you step out of your normal box.

So Happy For You

Okay, so I totally cased this card from Heather Summers. I saw this cute card on her blog and wanted to recreate it myself. So here it is. It was a lot of fun to make. I need to use my punches more often. I, of course added my own touch....some ribbon because I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE me some ribbon. The quality of this photo is pretty questionable, probably because I'm trying to take photos at midnight when ALL natural lighting is gone! I will try to retake it tomorrow and change the photo. I really wanted to get another post on so I am apologizing in advance.

Well, thanks for stopping by...now go stamp something!

Happy Thoughts

A quick and fun card using the Apple Blossom level 2 Hostess set. I believe this was my first time ever using it and I think I should pull it out more often. I mistakenly cut the card stock too short so I had to make some adjustments. I decided to add 2 scallop edges to even out the front and back of the csrd.
Hope you like it!
