Lovely As a Tree Convention Swap Share

Isn't this a beauty? I got it as a swap at Convention 2014. It uses the Lovely As a Tree stamp set. It is one of my favorite stamp sets ever! It is so versatile! It can be used for every season. It is definitely a Stampin' Up! favorite. It has been around and selling well since I became a demonstrator 10 years ago! I love how Demonstrator Terri Stewart used a masking tape to ink technique to get the stripes along the card. Just beautiful! Lovely As a Tree was paired with the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set for the sentiment. Colors/Inks used include: Pear Pizazz, Soft Sky, and Stazon Black. I am pretty sure I will be case-ing this one.

Gorgeous Grunge and Work of Art Swap Share Convention 2014

This card features both the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set as well as the Work of Art stamp set. These two sets compliment each other when paired for a fabulous finished product! This is another swap I received at Convention. It did not have a label so I have no one to give credit to for this fabulously stamped card.  This is an amazing card. I love the explosion of color and the well placed banner. See below for the details:

Gorgeous Grunge Convention 2014 Swap Share

I have two swaps to share today. Both feature the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and both are from some talented stampers. Thy both made my mouth fall open when I received them at Convention. I am in love with this first card created by Demonstrator Lisa Fuller. This card is fabulous!!! I love the colors, the layout, the flowers and their inked edges. This is one fantastic card. It uses the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in a way I never would have thought to do. I am so grateful for swaps because they give me ideas outside of my normal approach to crafting. Awesome, awesome, awesome!!!
This is another darling card using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. The colors are soft and calm. They make me think of a soft spring rain. Did you notice the pearls on the butterfly or the sequins strategically placed? This pretty card was created by Demonstrator Valerie Kobayashi of Honolulu, HI. She used the Happy Birthday wording from the Hey You stamp set (wood 134516) (clear 134519).

Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (wood 130514) (clear 130517) and the Hey You stamp set (wood 134516) (clear 134519) can be purchased through my online store HERE. Get yours today so you can start making your own works of art.

Work of Art Convention 2014 Swap Share

Here are several more of the swaps I got at this years' Convention. All of these cards feature the Work of Art stamp set. This is a versatile stamp set and all of the images in the set work well together. This set is also great paired with the images in the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. This first card was created by Demonstrator Kathy Barbour. I love how she made a palm tree with the images from the Too Kind stamp set.
This second card was created by Demonstrator Nicole Wetsch. Hers looks like a rainbow. I love how the colors soften with each flourish. It uses the Decorative Dots embossing folder and twine. Super cute!
This next card has such a softness to it. It was created by, Demonstrator Barbara Reed. It has a collage look to it. The heart really gives a point of focus. Gorgeous!!
This adorable card was created by Demonstrator Valerie Kobayashi. She cased it from Sandi MacIver and Heather Wright-Porto. I love the rich boldness of the colors on this card. This card has two layers but looks like there is so much more to it. The top layer has some cutouts that allow the second layer to peek through. It is uh-dor-uh-ble!! Along with the Flowering Flourishes stamp set this card is a work of art and makes a strong statement.
This card has a lot of super cute features. The colors are soft. The use of  Blackberry Bliss ink for the circles are a great contrast to the the Lost Lagoon ink and card stock. The little touch of Hello Honey adds a nice little touch as do the little dots of glimmer paper. This great card was created by Demonstrator Carmelita Wasson.
This last card seems so happy and refreshing. This awesome card was created by Demonstrator Sue Pardo. A good friend of mine. I love the rhinestones on the butterflies and how she layered the butterflies on the yellow images. Creative and classy! I love it.

Thanks for stopping by to see all of the wonderful cards created by fellow demonstrators using the Work of Art stamp set (134111). I can't wait to start sharing these cards at my future events. Shop my online store 24/7.

Convention 2014 Starburst Sayings Swap Share

Each year at Convention demonstrators swap card fronts as a way to share card ideas. Here are a couple of swaps that I got from other demonstrators this year. Both cards feature the Starburst Sayings stamp set. This firs card was created by Demonstrator Robbie Cox. It uses the Decorative Dots embossing folder and the 4-1/2" X 6-1/2" Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack. These cute paper stacks are a great size for card fronts or just about any project.

This card was created by an anonymous stamper. It is super cute, I really wish I knew who stamped it. It features the Large Polka Dot embossing folder and the In Colors Backgrounds Designer Series Paper Stacks. I love these paper stacks and have been using them a lot on my cards for layering. They are perfect and come in all of Stampin' Up!'s signature colors.

Starburst Sayings (clear 133185) (wood 133182) is a fun stamp set that works well with the Starburst Framelits Die (132967).

With these dies you can create layers or frames for your stamping projects. Shop my online store anytime to get started with your Starburst Sayings card.

Something To Say - Masculine Card

I have another card that could be considered a masculine card. It was quick and easy. I usually like to layer my cards but this one seemed to work with just the single layer. I used the wording from the Something To Say stamp set. I like the sketched look of the font and images in this set. I decided to add a golden star for a bit of pizazz. The texture on this card is from the Honeycomb Textured Impressions embossing folders. I used the In Colors Backgrounds Designer Series Paper Stacks for the two banner pieces. Card stock used is Craft and Hello Honey. I stamped the heart in real red ink. Say Something is a 14- Saying stamp set that will have you ready with cards for anything! Check out the images below:

Oh, Happy Day Masculine Card

I am always in need of a good masculine card. This one I saw in the annual catalog on page 116. I pretty much copied it as is but changed out the patterned paper (designer series) because I don't have the one they used (Typset Specialty Designer Series Paper)...but I'm adding it to my growing wish list. I also added the wording it's your day from the Fabulous Four stamp set, that I got for free at Convention. This was a quick and easy card. I will definitely be using this one at my next Paper Party. You can get yours HERE at my Stampin' Up website anytime anyday.

My Inspire, Create, Share 2014 Convention Swap

Although I've been home from Convention for almost 2 weeks now, I have yet to share my swaps with you. I thought I would share today. I made the same design using four of the new In Colors. These cards were inspired by a card made from the talented Mercedes Weber. You can find it HERE.  For my version of the card, I used the Flower Patch stamp set, Hello Honey ink and card stock, along with the In Color Backgrounds Designer Series Paper Stacks. It is one of the new photopolymer stamp sets. I am just lovin the photopolymer stamps, they ink up and stamp so well.
Here it is again in the Blackberry Bliss In Color. I love the boldness of this hue.
This one is in the new Tangelo Twist In Color. This one was my favorite of the four.
Last but not least is the beautiful Lost Lagoon. All of the colors look so much better when you stamp with them. Just looking at the colors doesn't do them any justice. It's when you ink up a stamp that you see the beauty and boldness in each of them. If you haven't gotten your In Color ink and paper, you can get them HERE.

Thanks for stopping by, come back real soon!
