On The Road

Our 17 year officially has his driver's license. He took and passed the test on Wednesday but had to wait until Saturday to get his license. He was so bummed he had to wait and we were sad for him. As his test was ending the workers were shutting down computers so they told him he had to come back to finish the process. Saturday morning couldn't come soon enough for the 17yr old. He and my husband were up early and out the door before I even opened an eye. They returned with coffee, donuts, and an official license for the happy teenager. Later in the day, I convinced him to sit in his car while I snapped a few pics. He looks so cute and very proud. We are so proud of him and the man he is becoming.

My Birthday Boy...He's Amazing!

My baby boy has turned four! I can't believe that time has breezed by so quickly. It seems that just yesterday I was trying to get him to sleep through the night. Funny how I do miss those nights of hearing him and just bringing him to bed with us for the sake of getting a good night's sleep.

Here is the card that I quickly made to celebrate the big 4! I used the Tall Tales designer paper. I love this paper!

Stamping With Eight Year Olds!

I was recently the "Entertainment," for an eight year old's birthday party. The birthday girl and the party attendees ranged in age from 6, 7, and 8. They were amazing little girls. They were so patient and so much fun! I prepared 3 easy and fun cards for them to stamp. Lots of coloring is always good for little ones. They loved the cards and were eager to stamp on everything:-)

They had a great time and so did I! The biggest hit, believe it or not, was the mono adhesive. They did really well with it too! A few of the girl's asked if they could have it. We used the Pun Fun stamp set, which the mom purchased. I charged $3.00 per card, $9.00 per child for eleven children.

The girl's had fun and the parents raved over the cards and how attentive the children were. Parents spent most of their time chatting and eating while I stamped with the children. This worked out PERFECTLY!! I am a teacher so I am use to managing and keeping the attention of a group of youngsters.
