Help.... I Need Somebody....

Once Upon a time I had a stamping space that looked like this......

But now I have a space that looks like this.....

I just want to know how a once so very clean space turns into a messy space where only tip toes can prance through. Where once I could create at my desk I can now only carve out a tiny space on the floor for my creative moments. I long for a clear space where my creativity can flow. The amazing thing is that stamping STILL happens here.

I am posting these pictures with a goal in mind. A goal of cleaning and organizing. This post is a way of holding myself accountable to getting this job done! I WILL get this space together and cleaned up before this weekend is over so that great things can happen here. I have so many projects where I've had extra cut cardstock just waiting for multiple cards to be made. What you can't see is the folding table I set up just outside of my area for my daughter to stamp some thank you cards from her birthday party. She did a great job with her cards. This space is in part of our basement. I have a little area sectioned off for me and my craftiness and the rest of this space is my children's play area, a bathroom, and a office for my husband. This is where we spend many Saturdays and Sundays. The kids love it down here. Stay tuned I will post my cleaned and organized area next week.

Let Them Eat Cake and More...

I just LOVE this set. I have so much fun using the marker to stamp technique to create a different look everytime! I also used my scallop punch to create icing on the cake. What is a cake without icing right? I created this card for my contribution to our group meeting. Below are cards and crafts created by my upline. I am always such a happy camper when I come home with all my stamping treats! Enjoy and leave a comment!

My upline Gail created this card. We used Stampin' Up!s rub ons for the flower. This card was so easy to create and has such a "Wow!" effect! I love, love, love this card.

The sour cream container was created using Stampin' Up!s designer series paper, scallop and flower punches and then filled with yummy Easter M&Ms. The ends were crimped to complete the sour cream container "look." The tin was also covered with the same paper and filled with yummy Easter candy. Another fabulous creation of my upline's. A shout out to Gail and the great things she shares with us.

My Secret Stamper

Look what I got! In todays' mail I received a lovely package from my secret stamper filled with hand stamped cards AND a very special Secret Stamper Rubber Stamp. I have received so many nice gifts from my secret stamper over the past several months and have admired how she stamped her cards with a Secret Stamper stamp. Imagine my surprise and delight when I opened the box and found my very own special stamp. Now I must get busy stamping for my special person. I've spent the hour creating and cutting cardstock for my upline meeting tomorrow night. I volunteered to bring a card for one of our 6 make and takes. I will share my card and the other items we make tomorrow. I am so excited about getting together with our group. We ALWAYS have such a great time AND once I get home the kids are already asleep. A nice little added bonus!

My Stamp and Go! Cards!

Last week I held a "Stamp and Go!" after hours at my work for a few of my colleagues. I designed four cards for this quickie class. I always feel so accomplished once I finish creating cards for others to make and enjoy. The ladies all enjoyed the class and seemed pleased with the cards. For this card I stamped in "Stampin' Up!'s real red ink on real red cardstock to create a tone on tone effect. The same was done with the sky blue ink on the sky blue cardstock. The rest of the card was layered as viewed. A very easy card to make with a bold effect.

My Farewell to Sale-A-Bration

This card uses the Lots of Thoughts stamp set. I decided to frame the wording by using both the scallop and the circle punch. This helped to place more of a focus on the wording. I made this with a few ladies at work and they loved the end result. Lots of fun to create!

This card is one of my favorites because of its' simplicity! I used the Friendship Blooms stampset to create this one. The regal rose flowers were inked using Stampin' Up!s stampin' write markers and coloring on just one of the flowers to keep it simple. This was another hit at my Stamp and Go! I had at work after hours as a creative outlet for my crafty colleagues. I lan to hold these monthly to keep me creative and my co-workers inspired.

The End of Sale-A-Bration

I must say I am sad to see the end of Sale-A-Bration! I love the cool stamps and have a few cards to share with you. All images posted are copyright Stampin' Up! and are original designs of Maureen Gold, me! This first card showcases a few of my favorite colors, River Rock, the Ginger Blossom designer series paper, and the Birthday Whimsy stamp set. I used the scallop puch to create the icing on the cake. It seemed to pull it altogether.

A Moment to Stamp!

I have finally found a moment to upload something today and will have a few more things to share with you really soon. This is an invitation I created for my sister in-law's baby shower. I love the colors of this invitation and the adorable baby buggy. I am still learning the ropes here but plan to work hard to keep my blog interesting. I have learned so much and received much inspiration from the many bloggers out there. I hope that my contributions will serve as inspiration to someone as I carve my space in this crafty world. I hope you will see something you like and make comments to keep me encouraged as I share with you. As a mother of four it is challenging to find time to create yet alone upload photos but I am sure many of you have your own verse to this song.
