Traveling Day....Leaving Utah

Demonstrators heading out of open session for the last time this year!

Shelli sad to see me leave...no...not true - just sentimental about convention ending.

Time for someone to head back home to New Jersey...back to reality. Even Shelli was sad to see me go. (just kidding)  I have been spoiled these last few days, I won't know what to do or how to act when all of my responsibilities kick back in. I've been so consumed with stamping and the excitement of Stampin' Up! convention 2012. We had an amazing few days here in Salt Lake City. I got to see and hear so many presenters:
  • Emily Montoya presented - I am Starting Out -
    • FUN-FILLED we played jeopardy with Stampin' Up! facts. I feel so smart!
  • Pam Morgan presented - I am Making Money - GREAT tips and tools for growing with SU!
  • Brian Pilling presented - I am a Leader - AWESOME!! - he had us fully engaged!
So many fun things happened yesterday. Quick run down...

General Session started with a live feed for Stampin' Up! demonstrators to view the festivities as they were happening. It was very cool. It began with this video. I only have a portion to share.

Sara was our first presenter. She is adorable and funny. Quick story, while I was in Momento Mall after shopping one time too many, I had just selected all of my purchases, walked over to the cashier and to my delight found Sara's daughter, Sydney there ready to check me out. This was indeed a pleasant surprise. She and I had a very nice conversation. Such a sweet a beautiful girl. I thoroughly enjoyed our little chat. I decided against taking her picture. Sara presented was to use jars and include tags. She was a delight.

Perky Shannon West - She came out playing the bagpipes...pretty cool! She even had her brother with her
Next, was the gorgeous Carrie Cudney. She demonstrated lots of cards and projects that focused on flowers. I snapped a few pics of some of her creations. These photos were taken from the monitors and there are a few heads visible in the shots but you can get the main idea. Each of the cards uses the new dahlias. They are so cute and add a nice little extra pop to your cards. They gave us some of these wonderful dahlias for FREE! - I'll be using them at my next event.

Who knew dahlias could be so cute!
There was one more that I didn't get a picture of. It was on a Christmas tree. Super cute. I may case it when I get home and then post it. You will oooh and ahhhh over it for sure I know we all did:-)

So many fabulous things to mention about today.

  • Announcement of convention for next year - July 18th-20th Salt Palace SLC

Maureen... great photos! Thanks so much for your great coverage. One thing though, isn't that Carrie Cudney presenting the flowers session on the main stage? Again, great blog!
